Before going in the field without internet access, make sure:
- you have installed the latest version of the Field Software
- you have run the jar and logged in with your account at least once
After starting the MAPEO Field Software a log-in dialog box will pop-up:
Type your username and password and then click “Login”.
After successful authentication, you are no longer required to login for a period of 60 days.
The Field Software main window is displayed.
On the right of the lower window border, you find:
• the username
• the next time a login is required for this user
• the “switch user” button, in case you want to login using another account 
• the “logout” button
