Sometimes pilots are placing and measuring the GCP coordinates for each flight seperatly. For them it might be handy to upload the GCP coordinates directly along with the images, before first storing them on the mapeo.be
- If you want to manage and store your own GCP coordinate files, you can add them to the mission by saving them into the local GCP folder
- Local GCP coordinates will not be updated in the MAPEO cloud, they will only be used during image processing associated to the uploaded mission
- KNOW THE OUTPUT COORDINATE SYSTEMS OF YOUR GPS. IF YOU DON'T KNOW THIS INFORMATION, ASK THE MANUFACTURER
To upload a local GCP file:
- Go to the “Settings" page
- Select the “Open local GCP folder” button
- Put your the GCP coordinate file in this folder. Use this template: What is the output format of the GCP coordinates?
- Once they are in this folder, the GCP coordinate file can be selected in the mission creation – step 2/3 (image selection) window.
- Use the dropdown menu to locate the file
